This is another garden which was designed after an extension had been added to the house.

A garden room had been built and there was some sandstone blocks left over which I incorporated into the new retaining wall. An additional patio was constructed in the west facing side of the garden to maximise the evening sun.  

A raised planting bed was built immediately next to the patio  as a break between the patio and the lawn. The patio can be accessed by either the back door or through the garden room.

Direct south facing this is a real sun trap. This garden is an on-going project and will continue to develop over the years.
