A full Garden Design package involves four stages.
- Garden Design Service. After the initial visit I will send you a proposal letter. In this letter I itemise the things you have requested and will give you a fixed fee for the design and details of other relevant fees for other services. The design fee includes the survey/ site analysis and soil samples and all draft plans necessary to reach a final plan which is presented as a coloured scale drawing. Any specification documents/plans and lists of chosen materials will also be included. Black and white copies are produced for the contractors.
- Project Management. Once the plans have been finalised the project can be managed for you. This includes site visits with contractors to discuss the garden project prior to them preparing a quote and then all subsequent visits during the building process to monitor the work. Visits to the site are made on a regular basis and also at the request of the contractors or the clients if required. These visits help to keep the project on track and on budget and maintain the integrity of the design.
- Planting Plans. These are drawn up as a separate drawing from the design plans and a fixed fee for these will be given in the proposal letter. The plan comes with a list of the plants chosen, thier height and spread, size and number required. A maintenance plan can also be added as an extra if required.
- Supply and planting plants. The plants detailed on the planting plan can be provided and planted once the construction work has been carried out. A fixed fee for this can be given once the planting plan has been completed.
As some clients do not require all the above services each quote will be individually tailored to your requirements.
